Elizabeth Ann "Lizzy Ann" Blankenship, 43 of Little Lynn, Wayne, WV, formerly of Beech Creek departed this life Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at her residence.
Born September 30, 1970 at Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Isom and Lola (Prater) Blankenship, Jr.
In addition to her parents Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her brothers: Earl Blankenship, Jr. and Dallas Ray (Brutt) Blankenship; her grandparents: Pleas and Polly Prater and Howard and Della Blankenship.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Elizabeth are her sisters: Brenda (Bo) Doss, Gaynell (Emery Cochran) Rowe, and Tonya (Stanley) Wolford; her nieces: Trisha (Twisted Knee) Denise Blackburn, Lakeisha Nicole (Cody) Blackburn, Elisha Danielle Doss (Andre) Roach, Taylor Prater and Addison Wolford; nephews: James Roger (Poss) Blackburn, Jr. and Jacoby Wolford; great nieces and nephews: James Roger (Lil Man) Workman, Haylie Faith Workman, Erica Danielle Nicole Stapleton, Whitney Brooke Stapleton, Kyndall Marie Stapleton, Ethan Ryan Pack, Elexius Nicole Paige Pack, Colt Ryan Pack, Brittany McKenzie Lynn Pack, Alayna Danielle Skye Doss and Kolton DeShawn Bo Doss; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 6 to 9 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with Evangelist David Neeley Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Looney Curve Cemetery at Devon, WV.
Elizabeth will be carried to her final resting place by pallbearers: Kenny Prater, Andre Roach, Randy Baldwin, Jr., Boxer Prater, James Blackburn, Jr., Bo Hatfield, Rod Wirick, James Staley and Austin Prater. Honorary pallbearers are: Bo Doss and Emery Cochran.
