Charles S. Rhodes 79, Corydon, died Friday, June 26, 2015, at his home.
Born May 20, 1936, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Earl and Murl Frakes Rhodes.
He was a lifetime resident of the Hill Grove Church community, a farmer, owner/operator of a small engine repair shop and a Christian.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Brandenburg, and a brother, Cecil Rhodes.
Survivors include his wife, the former Anna Ruth Amy; a daughter, Linda Rhodes Sayler of Indianapolis; two sisters, Kathleen Hunter of Corydon and Lois Finn of Clarksville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, June 29, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, June 30, after 10 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, June 30, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Hill Grove Cemetery near Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Lori Miller-Price.
