Mr. Calhoun , who had just completed his freshman year at Santa Clara University in California, was pronounced dead at 12:30 a.m. Monday at Evanston Hospital. He was a passenger in an auto that struck a parked car on Spruce Street in Winnetka.
Mr. Calhoun , a Winnetka resident and 1991 graduate of New Trier High School, was majoring in electrical engineering at Santa Clara, where he was a member of the lacrosse team.
Survivors include his parents, Judy and E.L. "Mac"; a sister, Lisa; six brothers, Christopher, Steven, David, Michael, Scott and Joseph, and two grandparents, Mary McCormick and Etta Calhoun Bennett.
