Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, November 2, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family.
Rebecca L. Erdman was born April 23, 1947, in Forest City, Iowa, daughter of Art and Jeanne Erdman. She married Marty Meyer September 26, 2009. Becky worked primarily in the restaurant business before retiring, owning restaurants of her own at times. She loved her family and was very proud of her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, baking, camping, motorcycling, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by husband, Marty Meyer; three daughters, Kristie (Kent) Dau, Long Grove, Lisa (Matt) Piller, Farmington, MN, and Jennifer Thoel, Fort Dodge; eight grandchildren, Marlyssa Piller, Mackenzie Wiley, Josh Piller, Tim Dau, Bailey Thoel, Tyler Dau, Tabitha Thoel and Tanner Thoel; and three sisters, Donna (Les) Janssen, Sharon (Doug) Greenfield, and Jeri (Ed) Koppen.
She was preceded in death by parents, two husbands, Paul Ernst and Roger Williams, and one sister, Pam Smith.
