James C. Heffley, 81, died at 7 o'clock Wednesday evening at his home after an extended illness.
He was born in Connellsville on October 6, 1874, a son of Samuel and Althea (Stimmel) Heffley. He was a retired barber.
Mr. Heffley was secretary and treasurer for 18 years of Journey-men Barbers International Union of Americam Local No. 710.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nell Balsey Heffley; four sons.
The funeral service will be held at the Brooks Funeral home.
