Evelyn G.(Crowl) Barlow, age 82, of Waynesburg, OH., went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, December 26, 2004, in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on January 21, 1922 in Waynesburg to the late Clifford and Geneva (Braswell) Crowl. She was a devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church, and enjoyed crocheting afghans and playing cards, however, her greatest love was for her family. She will always be remembered for her never-ending smile. She was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Clayton, Ken and Atlee Crowl; an infant daughter, Karen Sue; and stepmother, Dolores Crowl. Survivors include, her loving husband of 48 years, Frank Barlow, of the home; daughters, Dolores "D" May, Patricia (Ron) Simon, Bonnie (Larry) Hawkins, and Brenda Wackerly; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Harold Crowl and Wes (Donna) Crowl; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10am in Bethel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Henry Dettweiler officiating. Burial will be in North Canton Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Wednesday from 6-8pm in the Reed Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service from 9-10 am in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church.
