Glenn D. Folmar

The funeral for Glenn D. Folmar, 90, of 1349 Gatewood Drive of Auburn is scheduled for 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 27, 1992, at the Frederick's Chapel with burial following in the Garden Hills Cemetery. The Revs. Buford Senn and Lynn McClain will officiate.

Mr. Folmar, who died Saturday, Dec. 26, at East Alabama Medical Center, was born Jan. 12, 1902 in Alabama. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Robertsdale. Mr. Folmar was preceded in death by his son, Glenn D. Folmar, Jr. and his daughter, Ruth Ann Chalker. Mr. Folmar was a former resident of Baldwin County.

Survivors include: his daughter, Alice Joy Simpson of Opelika; his son, Alan Folmar of Opelika; his sister, Tabbie Carter of Troy; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wesley Terrace Good Samaritan Fund or Auxiliary. Visitation for family and friends will be from noon until time for the service today. Frederick's Funeral Home in Opelika is directing.
