Mary J. Dinkel, 90, of Denver, entered the gates of Heaven on June 22, 2015, to be joined with our Heavenly Father, her dear friend and companion, Betty J. De Feo, her parents, and 11 brothers and sisters.

She was born in St. Peter, KS to Anton and Maria Dinkel. She later moved to Denver, CO.

Mary was a hardworking, driven woman who was the service manager for Spitzter Auto Electric for 36 years. She played third base for City Park Women's Softball, which led her to regional and national games. She was known for her spitfire personality and generosity. Many will remember her for her meticulous yard and her ability to trap squirrels, paint their tails pink and relocate them so they wouldn't return. Mary and Betty loved to entertain and travel.

She is survived by 18 nieces and nephews, and their children. To her niece, Donna Jean, she was like a second mother. She will be missed by all.

At Mary's request, no services will be held. Her final resting place will be at Mt. Lindo Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Mary's name to your charity of choice.
