Professional NBA and International Basketball Player. Vroman, the son of former NBA player Brett Vroman, played in the NBA before being naturalized as a Lebanese citizen to play for the Lebanon national basketball team. The 6-foot-10 power forward/center out of Iowa State was selected by the Chicago Bulls in the second round (31st overall) of the 2004 draft, but played for Phoenix and New Orleans during his two NBA seasons. He played in 87 NBA games averaging 4.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. After his NBA career he continued playing overseas for several teams, including South Korea, China, Spain, the Philippines and the Lebanese national team, which he played for through 2014. Vroman died of an apparent drowning in his swimming pool.
