Terry Lynn Marra Marsh passed away Monday, June 22, 2015, in her home.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Whinery-Huddleston Chapel.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Terry was born May 6, 1959, in Fort Benning, Ga., to Anthony James and Beverly Faye Marra. She grew up in Lawton, but also resided in Georgia, Hawaii and Germany. She was a cadet in the ROTC, volunteered for the Red Cross, and she worked in nursing most of her life. Terry loved cooking, sewing, crocheting, tending to her gardens and painting, and cherished angel and butterfly items. Her favorite colors were pastel green and navy blue. She was very passionate about animals and would feed or take in any stray animals who crossed her path. Above all Terry loved her family. No matter what, she was always there for them, especially her grandchildren. They were the life, light and joy of her life. Terry always said there is no love like the love you have for your grandchildren. She was a loving, kind, and generous person who was there for anyone and everyone.
Survivors include her mother, Beverly Faye Marra; father, Anthony James Marra; her daughter, Maralyn Faye Northern; son, Christopher Dwight Newman; brothers: Tony Marra and Vincent Marra; sister, Tammy Marra Dickson; grandchildren: Kelsey Northern, Brooke Northern, Kalynn Northern, Kendal Northern, Coty Northern and Brandon Northern; nephews: Chad Marra, Fredrick Hughes, David Marra and Dusty Lewis; and nieces: Jennifer Baggett, Kristen Marra, Crystal Kruzel, Amanda Wright and Alyssa Marra. She also has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Marra; and her nephew, David Guiterrez.
She is deeply loved and will be truly and greatly missed by everyone who touched her heart. She is gone but not forgotten.
