Lynn was a native and lifelong resident of Panama City. She was a 1975 graduate of Rutherford High School, and earned a bookkeeping degree from Haney Technical. Lynn worked as a bookkeeper for the Gulf Coast School of Cosmetology and the Bay County School Board. She was also certified as a CNA, and was a member of the Apostolic Gateway of Panama City. Lynn loved arts and crafts, and was an excellent cook.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Elbert Jenkins and a brother, Eric Jenkins.
Survivors include her mother, Betty McDaniel Jenkins; sisters, Irene Commander (James) and Allison Einglett (Vic), all of Panama City; her aunts and uncles, Dorothy Sasser (J.T.) of Chipley, William Earl Jenkins of Phenix City, AL, Jimmy Doyle Jenkins (Linda) of Tampa and Joyce Shields (Bill) of Pensacola; her nieces and nephews, David Hiram Conrad (Nicole), Katie Seymour (Ryan), James Henry Wynn, Charles Reid Wynn and Jamie Commander; her great-nieces and nephews, Claire and Charlotte Conrad, Owen Seymour, Ryley Madden and Olivia Commander.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 2, 2015, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Noles officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00. Asked to serve as pallbearers are David Hiram Conrad, Ryan Seymour, James Henry Wynn, Bill Shields, Don Simmons and Bobby Simmons. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lynn's name may be made to the Apostolic Gateway of Panama City, 1529 Lisenby Ave., Panama City, FL 32405.
