Besides his parents, who live in Au Sable Forks, New York, he left two sisters, Elaine of Au Sable Forks and Lori-Ann of Plattsburgh; two brothers, Richard and Thomas, both of Au Sable Forks; and several aunts and uncles.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 11, 1986, at Holy Name Church in Au Sable Forks. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
