Kathryn Sue Sharp, 76, went to be with Jesus on June 25, 2015 after a valiant but brief battle with malignant brain tumors. God’s Holy Spirit comforted her throughout the struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

Kathryn was born to the late Bill and Ruby Leach in Glenns Ferry, Idaho on April 8th, 1939.

Kathryn was married to Loren Sharp for 57 years. They were married in the Emmett Christian Church on May 18th, 1958 in Emmett, Idaho.

Devoted to her husband and children, she also blessed the lives of friends around her. She enjoyed handcrafts, outdoor adventures, and taking care of her home.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Loren Sharp; brother, Harold Leach; daughter, Darcy Sharp; and many much-beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl Leach; sister, Martha Stinnett; and son, Greg Sharp.

Kathryn will be buried at the Emmett Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 2nd, with an informal reception to follow at Heritage Christian Church, 1648 N. Washington in Emmett, Idaho.
