Morris Edward "Eddie" Moore, entertainer and songwriter. Originally from Millport, AL, Passed away 6/29/2015 at DCH in Tuscaloosa, Al. Visitation will be Wednesday 7/1/2015 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm with Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 pm from Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery. Eddie was a staff writer for FAME in the early 80's and co-wrote Gus Hardin's first top 10, "After The Last Goodbye" and had cuts by Jerry Reed, Janie Fricke, David Allan Coe and others. Also, he was the first entertainer at the MGM Club in Muscle Shoals and he assembled the house band that later became Shenandoah. He died from diabetes related issues and heart failure. He was 65.
