Frances Iva Hesdorfer, 94, of Medford died on May 10, 2003 at Glass Barn Foster Care Home in Central Point. She was born on April 10, 1909 in Margaret, Texas. She married Elijah Alexander Littrell, Jr. on May 29, 1947. He died on May 7, 1961. She married George Hesdorfer on October 17, 1965 in Eureka, California. Survivors include her husband, George; her daughter, Anne Brainerd of Medford; two granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren. No services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives and Crematory.

Iva Frances Hite married three times. First to a man with the last name of Carter, then to Elijah Alexander Littrell, Jr and then to George Hesdorfer.

She preferred and went by her middle name of Frances. Her father, was Leo Clyde Hite, Sr.
Leo and his first wife (either Ann or Mae) Hite had three daughters while they were living in Texas- Wilma Mae Hite, Iva Frances Hite and Alice Lee Hite. After his first wife left him and the three girls, Leo and the kids relocated to Iowa and he remarried.
He married Grace Robina Hunter Hite and they had 12 more children together. Grace also had a son named Clarence from her first marriage.
So together Leo and Grace had 12 children and altogether they had 16 children

Iva Frances’s father-
Leo Clyde Hite, Sr. was born in Farmersville, Louisiana on 02/05/1879 and passed away on 05/02/1961 and is buried in Plattsmouth, Nebraska

-Iva, Alice and Wilma Hite were children that Leo Clyde Hite had with his first wife Ann or Mae Hite.

-Clarence “Mac” McCardie was Grace's son that she had with her first husband Roy Harrison McCardie.
