Rex Black, 92, of Denver passed away on June 25, 2015. He was born on March 4, 1923 in Calloway, Nebraska. Rex married Olive Henshaw on November 15, 1942. He is predeceased by Ollie and his second wife Saraley Green. He is survived by his daughters, Ann (Clifford) Weber of Montrose, CO, and Nancy Meinders of Denver, 3 grandsons and 2 great-grandchildren. Rex served in the U.S. Army in WWII. After his discharge, he joined the American Legion, the VFW and the Elks and he proudly received 70 year membership in each organization. He had a long and successful career with "Ma Bell" starting in 1951 in Fort Morgan, CO. He then worked in Telluride and Montrose before moving to Denver where he retired in 1982.
