She was born in Anderson County to the late David Leslie and Ermer Anderson Kays. She was a member of Goshen Baptist Church; Ladies Auxillary Post 34; Anderson County Senior Citizens Center; and a homemaker.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Phillips and Barbara Willard; three sons, Wayne (Donna) Phillips, Ricky (Angie) Phillips and Ronnie Phillips, all of Lawrenceburg; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jerry Rucker; sister, Opal Kays; and son-in-law, Russell Willard.
Burial will be in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
