NEW BEDFORD- Jacqueline A. (Lloyd) Rodriguez, 70, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Brandon Woods following a lengthy illness. She was the former wife of the late Pablo Rodriguez and daughter of the late Ulysses and Wilhelmina (Lloyd) Clark.

Born in New York, she resided in New Bedford for many years. Jackie was a member of Union Baptist Church. She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at several area nursing homes. Jackie was a dedicated volunteer for the elderly. She cherished her family and friends and was also an avid collector of salt & pepper shakers, knickknacks, antiques and enjoyed yard sales.

Her family includes three sons, Kevin A. Lloyd, Mark I. Lloyd and Garland K. Lloyd, all of New Bedford; one sister, Constance M. Lloyd-Woodley and her husband, Ted of New York who was like a brother to Jackie; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends who aided her in her hours of need.

She was the sister of the late Marcia Lloyd , Beatrice Clark & Stephen Clark and niece of the late Lelia Lloyd.

Her funeral service will be conducted in Union Baptist Church Wednesday morning at 10:00. Interment in Rural Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home, 129 Allen St., New Bedford.
