On February 17, 1914 she was united in marriage to Charles G. Schubert of Manson, Iowa. They lived in Everly,Iowa, for about 5 years where Mr.Schubert had a clothing store. They then moved to Sanborn, Iowa where Mr. Schubert entered the clothing business. Mr. Schubert preceded her in death on November 20, 1958. Mrs. Schubert continued to make her home in Sanborn. They were active members of St Cecelia's Catholic Church of Sanborn, Iowa.
Surviving are one son Don, of Paullina, Iowa, two daughters, Mrs. Betty Benz, Laurens, Iowa, and Mrs. Mary Waldhelm, Paullina, Iowa and their families. Also six sisters, Mrs E.F Gottfried, Fonda, Iowa; Mrs. Minnie Wilfong, Chamberlain, S.D.; Mrs Ella H. Sandquist, Madrid, Iowa; Mrs Chas. Davis, Platte, S.D.; Mrs. Dayton O. Smith, Rockwell City,Iowa; and Mrs. Bert Drommer, Pomeroy, Iowa, and one brother, Lewis W. Hout, Vancouver, Washington.
Those preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters, Mrs George Prange, Fonda, Iowa, Mrs Will Wolters of Varina, Iowa and one brother Clarence F Hout of Pomeroy, Iowa.
She was buried at St. Cecelia's Cemetery, Sanborn, Iowa, beside the remains of her husband. Services were at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church, Friday morning, February 16, 1962. Services were in charge of Father Joynt.
