It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Eddie Dean Bradley, Sr. (Age 52) on July 9, 2011. Ed was born March 15, 1959 in Merced, California to Ron and Mary Ann Bradley. He lived in California for 30 years where he met the love of his life, Mandi, and started his family before moving to Cheney in 1994.

He was a dedicated and respected employee of Haakon Industries in Cheney for 13 years. Ed had a unique way of making work fun and was known to pull off a practical joke or two. His Haakon family meant the world to him.

Ed was a wonderful, loving, and dedicated husband. The love shared between Ed and Mandi was that of soul mates and true best friends. He was an amazing father and role model to his children and adored his grandchildren. Ed came from a large family and was an inspiration to his siblings; he never hesitated to be there for them and they all loved him very much. He was a great friend to everyone he met and never thought twice about helping anyone in need.

Ed loved fishing on the Snake River and camping and boating on Lake Roosevelt. When he wasn't on the water, he enjoyed golfing with his buddies. His crazy parties, off-the-wall storytelling and smooth dance moves made him a legend among his friends and family.

Ed is survived by his wife of 23 years Mandi, his children Rachel (Mike) Rich, Eddie Jr., Jessica, and Austin and his grandchildren Kennedy and Deagan. He is also survived by his parents Ron and Mary Ann and his siblings Vic (Grace), Mary Kay (Kevin) Parque, Rhonda (Steve) Gott, Scott (Robyn) and Denise Hicks, Nanny Benefield and his extended family Phyllis Perrotta, Debi (Neil) Wilgus, Bob Judson and Karen Long, Kim (Art) Lewis, and Ona Judson as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Geneva Marie.

Ed was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. His passing has left a whole in our hearts that can never be filled.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 3 p.m. at the Cheney Funeral Chapel. A celebration of Ed's life will immediately follow at Ruby's Resort on Silver Lake (Medical Lake). Online guest book at cheneyfuneral.com.
