Iris F. Adams, age 84, Stilesville, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Scott County, VA on August 22, 1930 the daughter of William Squire and Ida Johnson. She had been the manager at the Blue and White Truck Stop, Belleville and attended Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Mooresville. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Earl Adams; daughters – Kathy Halbert, Avon, and Tina Ellett, Grapevine, TX.; son-in-law – Marcello Gamez; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; and a sister – Bonnie Hurtt. She was preceded by a daughter – Brenda Gamez.
