She was the daughter of Parrett Haun & Elizabeth Heber Haun. She married Jacob "Jake" Dawson Botner November 26, 1906 in Vermillion County, Indiana. She was the mother of 4 children: Minnie Blanche Botner Saxton Goforth, Lester J. Botner, Dorothy Lucille Botner and Mildred Opal Botner Wright.
