Cora was the daughter of James Barneycastle, who changed the family surname to Castle and/or Cassel, and Julia Ann Moss. Cora married Thomas J. Robbins in 1897, they had 3 children: Mamie, Nona, Clyde. Thomas died, and Cora married (2) Henry M. Miller Feb 1906. They had a son, James Herbert. All the children took the name Miller. Henry and Cora divorced by 1920. Cora and the children then went by the name Robbins, though her death certificate calls her Miller.
