A female, who is a direct descendant of Fannie (nee Womack) Weaver, participated in mtDNA testing. The results were mtDNA haplogroup H5a -- European origin, not Native American. Fannie's mother was not Native American.

Fannie's exact birth date and place are unknown. Her granddaughter, Emma Susan (nee Weaver) Potts Rodgers stated in her 1906 Commerce, Hunt Co., TX claim for her Native American entitlements that Fannie was still living in 1830.

Most of Fannie's children were living in Missouri in 1830. There's a possibility that she and David lived on Lovely's Purchase, which included Lovely Co., AR, before and/or when she died because her brother, Larkin Womack lived there before being forcibly moved to Crawford Co., AR. Fannie's son-in-law, James Q. Carrico lived on Lovely's Purchase, and her son, Larkin Weaver is on the 1831 Crawford Co., AR tax list.

Fannie's paternal grandfather, Jacob Womack and her uncle, Johnson Womack have court records in Burke Co., NC in 1785.

The Womacks and Weavers lived in Washington District, NC (present-day Washington Co., TN), and they were on the 1790 Pendleton District, SC (present-day Anderson Co.) census together. They were also living in the same vicinity in Grainger Co., TN 1795-1805. And the Womacks and Weavers moved to White Co. TN together.

Fannie's father-in-law, Samuel Weaver and his brother, John Weaver both died in White Co., TN.
