Obituary
Peggy Jean Jacobs of Seagoville, TX peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 16, 2015. Peggy was born in Forney, TX on November 17, 1929 to Charley and Mabel Adams. Peggy was the youngest of five children. Peggy enjoyed living in Forney as a child and told of many adventures on the family farm. The family moved to Dallas during the Depression. Peggy attended Crozier Tech High School where she enjoyed drawing, painting and playing tennis. Peggy was married to Glenn Bourland in 1947 and had one son. Peggy was married to Ray Jacobs in 1951 and had six children.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Charley “Paw Paw” Adams, her mother Mabel “Granny” Adams, her twin infant brothers, her brother Charles “Cotton” Adams, and her daughter, Dana Lee Barens.

The family would like to thank their church family of Casa View Assembly of God for their prayers and support for the past 25 years, and the staff of the Villages of Lake Highlands for the loving care given our mother during the last few weeks of her life.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 6:00PM at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, TX, and funeral services will be held at 2:00PM with interment following at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville, TX.
