Roger Joey Stevens, 56, died Friday, June 26, 2015 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 11:00am in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating.

Joey was born in Macon, Georgia to Mary Carole Hinson Stevens and the late James Tommie Stevens. He was previously a Manager with W.C. Caye Construction Materials and was a member of the Baptist Faith. Joey enjoyed the outdoors, playing golf and tennis, running, and water skiing. He loved animals, and as a child he volunteered at the Human Society. Joey was fun loving, with a great sense of humor and sharp wit.

Survivors, in addition to his mother include his son, Austin Taylor and Austin's mother, Carolyn Stevens; sister, Janet (David) Stroud; and nephew, David (Ashley) Stroud, Jr.

Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery have charge of the arrangements.
