Thomas Litzinger, 77, of San Antonio, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007.
A funeral mass was celebrated Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma with the Rev. Phillip Kim officiating.
Interment followed at 3 p.m. in the St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery in Harper.
Arrangements were under the direction of Beckmann Funeral Home.
Litzinger was born Feb. 8, 1930, in Covington, KY, the son of John J. Litzinger and Dorothy A. Taylor Litzinger. He married Margaretha Rischner on Aug. 4, 1951, and she survives.
After serving nine years in the U.S. Air Force, Litzinger became an air traffic controller for the Federal Aviation Administration.
In addition to his wife, Litzinger is survived by three daughters and son, including Deborah Theode and her husband, Ralph; Sharon Neumann and her husband, Eddie; Robin Winningham, and Thomas Litzinger Jr.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two brothers, Jack Litzinger and Robert Litzinger.
Litzinger was preceded in death by his parents as well as a son, John J. Litzinger, and a brother, William Litzinger.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
Pallbearers included Robert Winningham Jr., Sgt. Jeremy Redman, Shelby Neumann, Kyle Neumann, Ryan Winningham, Justin Neumann and Ross Winningham.
