Graveside services for Joe LeMaster Jr., 71, of Harper, who died Saturday at his residence, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Harper Cemetery with the Rev. John Bishop officiating.
Born Dec. 18, 1923, Mr. LeMaster had been a resident of Harper for four years, formerly residing in Van Vleck for 40 years. He was a retired repair tool man in commercial construction and a member of the Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He married Mary Elizabeth Lloyd on July 22, 1948 in Bay City. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Dianne LeMaster of Abilene and Mary Sue Haggith of Bellingham, Wash.; two sons, Joseph L. LeMaster of Van Vleck and James LeMaster of Harper; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be James E. Tanner, Lloyd Bradley Atherton, Curtis Dykes, Charles Markwordt, Steve Goodale, Max W. LeMaste and James Hodge.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville is in charge of arrangements.
