Nicholas Anthony Rogers
Thousand Oaks, CA (1988-2015)
Nicholas Anthony Rogers entered this world on September 21, 1988, and entered into the realm to be with our Lord Savior Jesus Christ on June 6th 2015.
Our beloved son Nick will forever be remembered for his loving gentle ways. We often referred to him as the "Gentle Giant" for Nick only knew to think with his loving heart always looking for ways to comfort those who needed it.
Nick was born in the San Fernando Valley and moved with his family to Simi Valley in 1995. In 2003 Nick and his family moved to Thousand Oaks. Nick graduated from Thousand Oaks High School in 2007.
Nicholas attended several churches seeking the word of God, but always called Calvary Community Church in Westlake his home.
He volunteered along with his father and brother on the tech team working with the camera and stage work. Nick was baptized at Calvary Community Church on September 10th of 2006 along side his father Tony Rogers, brother Chris Rogers and dear friend Shane Dreher.N
ick was a extremely talented guitar player. He was self taught and would amaze others with his unbelievable talent.
Nick also enjoyed paintball, dirt bike riding and skateboarding. M
ost of all he loved to take vacations in their motorhome traveling to such places as Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Arizona, the Sierras, Bass Lake and many beaches.
Nick and his family were also blessed with a family trip, which included many family members on his mother Kim's side to Cancun in 2007.
Upon graduation from high school Nick began working at Digital Insight as a Data Center Technician following in his fathers footsteps. Nick's brother Christopher Michael precedes Nick ten months previous.
Nick is survived his father Tony Rogers, his mother Kimberly Rogers. He is also survived by his father's partner Michelle Spolidoro and her children Taylor, Nicole and Joshua Spolidoro, Grandparents Don and Dorrie Rogers, Grandparents Jose and Cheryl Lopez, Great-Grandmother Datherine Reed, Uncle Scott and Aunt Lina Rogers, their children Courtney and Joshua and Rogers, the Montag family (cousins) Jeff, Lisa, Jesse, Brittney, Uncle Kevin and Aunt Debbie Lopez, and their children and cousins Zeev and Savanah Lopez, Aunt Tiffany Lopez and Uncle Kirk and Aunt Megan Lopez and their children and cousins Paige and Jake Lopez.All who knew him will deeply miss Nick.
We were blessed to have been touched by this loving soul and will continue to carry his love with us forever in our hearts. We will be seeing you?
Funeral services were held, Tuesday June 16, 2015 at the Village Church, in Santa Clarita, Ca.
Graveside services were held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park on Sierra Highway in Newhall, Ca. He will be buried next to his brother, Christopher Michael.
