Graveside services for Everett Lee Rogers are 2 pm, Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Kansas Cemetery in Kansas, Okla., with Rev. Charlie Rogers officiating. Pallbearers include Jarrod Rogers, Matthew Rogers, Eddie Rogers, Freddie Rogers, Scotty Rogers and Jim Hollenback. Honorary pallbearers include Mark Hitchcock and Chris Trammel. Rogers died Monday, March 13, in Tulsa at the age of 80. He was born Nov. 23, 1925, in Oaks, Okla., to Charlie A. and Carrie (Bingle) Rogers. He grew up in Omaha, Ark., and Kenwood, Okla., graduating from Jay High School in 1943. Rogers spent his working career as a farmer and raising fox hounds before retiring to Tahlequah in 1983. He enjoyed fox hunting and was a member of numerous fox hunting organizations. He was a nationally known fox hound judge and enjoyed traveling all over the United States to various fox hound shows. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Carrie Rogers; a sister, Nellie Maddox; three brothers, Fred, Roy and Claude Rogers; and four nephews. He is survived by 15 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews, extended relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements directed by Reed-Culver Funeral Home
