Mrs. Ariail was born in 1914 in Gainesville, Georgia, the daughter of the late Marion Luther and Leila Belle Strickland Payne and was the widow of the late Omer Gilbert Ariail. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Toccoa, was a school teacher for more than thirty years, and taught Sunday School for sixty-eight years.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Harley and Cecil Payne.
