Betty was one of 17 children born to Elsie Witt DeVore and James Henry DeVore. She was married to Thomas J. Acker in Sept. 1956 and had 3 children. Diane, Thomas Jr and George. She loved to sew, can fruits and vegetables, travel and crossword puzzles. She could grow anything, but loved her iris's and dinner plate daliha's the most. She was totally devoted to her husband and family.
