Faye Freeman, 71, of Moores Hill, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015. She was born September 10, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Archie and Tina (Froedge) Thompson.
Faye enjoyed gardening; was an animal lover; and loved being grandma. She worked as head cashier at Krogers.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Lee Freeman of Moores Hill, IN; 2 sons, Arthur Gutfreund, III of Flemingsburg, KY, Fred (Christi) Gutfreund of West Harrison, IN; daughter, Andrea (Ben) Ahrens of West Harrison, IN; brother, Marshall (Kathy) Smith of Edmonton, KY; sister, Linda (Vincent) Thompson of Cincinnati, OH; 7 grandchildren, Kevin Ahrens, Maggie Ahrens, Kyle Gutfreund, Amy Ahrens, Sean Gutfreund, Emma Gutfreund, and, Alexis Schultz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Tina Thompson; 2 brothers, Douglas Smith, Gary Thompson; and sister, Geneva Cary.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 11am to 1pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Friday, January 9, 2015 at 1pm.
Interment will follow in the Gibson Cemetery, Bright, Indiana.
