Paula Elaine Richardson was born July 3, 1947 in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Lucille(Hutton)Gott. She graduated from Pekin High School and AIB. She worked as a medical secretary at the University of Iowa Hospital in the Neurosurgery Department. She was a member of the Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School and was the choir director. She also was a Red Cross volunteer. Paul served in the Naval Reserves from 1980-1986. She enjoyed dancing, singing, musicals and plays.
Paula died on Friday, June 26, 2015 at her daughters home in Bettendorf at the age of 67 years.
Paula is survived by her children Donald(Michelle)Nicholls of Coralville; Alicia(Paul)Pasker of Bettendorf; 6 grandchildren Kiera, Kelsey Nicholls, Jadin, Cohen, Noah Knudson and Kelsey Pasker; 2 brothers Glen(Sue)Gott of Nebraska; Gene Lyons of Oklahoma; and 2 sisters Deb(Don)Baker of Delaware, and Mary(Mike)Shockley of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Celebration Of Life Service will be held 12 pm Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney will be in the Ollie Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 am until service time at the Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney.
