Major League Baseball Player. He was a left handed pitcher making his debut for the Philadelphia Athletics on May 31, 1927. For five seasons, he played mostly as a middle reliever with the Philadelphia Athletics (1927-29) and Chicago Cubs (1932-33). He finished his career with a record of 1 win, 1 loss, 1 save, 16 strikeouts, a 3.88 earned run average and an excellent 1.000 fielding percentage. After baseball he worked as a salesman.
