Mary E. Vent, 86, of Momence, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999 at Momence Meadows Nursing Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the 11 a.m. services at the Cotter Funeral Home, Momence. The Rev. Jim Kenison will officiate.
Burial will be in Momence Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family wishes.
She was born Nov. 17, 1912 in Morocco, Ind., the daughter of Thomas and Mary Gassoway Turner.
Her husband, Harvey L. Vent, whom she married Aug. 26, 1930 in Morocco, Ind., died in 1968.
Surviving are one son, Thomas Vent of Momence; three sisters, Ruth Schroder of Belvidere, Dorothy Lafoon of Goodland, Ind., and Beatrice Olinger of Marion, Ind.; one brother, Harry Turner of Mt. Ayr, Ind; 13 grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are nine brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Vent was a member of New Life Baptist Church, Manteno.
