Bridgewater, NJ - Walter A. Dalrymple. Loving husband and father, 89, died Wednesday November 7, 2007 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville.
Walter was born in Bound Brook and was formerly of Toms River and Middlesex before moving to Bridgewater in 2007. He was employed as a mechanic for American Cyanamid in Bridgewater for 42 years retiring in 1979. He was a former communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin in Middlesex. Walter was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is predeceased by a grandson Kevin Scott Dalrymple.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Margaret, his children, Richard and his wife Kathy, Susan Dalrymple and partner Carol Bace, 5 grandchildren, William, Michael, Craig, Debi and Bryan, and 3 great grandchildren, Rachael, Matthew and Angelina.
Prayers will be said 9:30am Saturday at the Bruce C VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave Somerville followed by a 10:30am Mass at the St. Joseph’s RC Church, 124 East 2nd St. Bound Brook. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Bound Brook.
Visitation will be Friday 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the funeral home.
