Cynthia Diana Parks, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born March 13, 1941 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Gertrude (Brososki) Bulmahn. She retired in 2014 as a staff assistant with Dan Dienelt State Farm Insurance Agency after over 20 years of service. She was also a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Lutheran Singles Association and the Book Club Divas. Cynthia was an avid gardener and also enjoyed reading. She had a kind and generous heart and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren; she will be greatly missed. Surviving are her daughters, Karen (Jim) Cashman and Tina (Scott) Sorg, both of Fort Wayne, and Jennifer (Adam) Morton of Phoenix, Ariz.; her son, Brian Parks of Summerville, SC.; six grandchildren, Zachary A. Sorg, James (Rachel) Cashman, Tori Cashman, Alli Sorg, all of Fort Wayne, Chance Morgan of Phoenix, Ariz., and Madison Parks with her mother Dawn Parks, of West Lafayette, Ind.; her brother, Steven (Linda) Bulmahn of Fort Wayne; nieces, Amy Bulmahn of Grapevine, TX and Miranda Bulmahn of Fort Wayne; and nephews, Matthew Bulmahn and Mark Bulmahn, both of Fort Wayne. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Judith Bulmahn; and one niece, Morgan. Funeral Service will be 11:00am Monday, June 29, 2015 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Ave., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior; Pastor Mark Neubacher officiating. Calling also will be on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 1-4 & 6-8pm at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Riverview Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Lutheran Social Services or Worship for Shut-ins.
