Donnie G. Lee, 76, Rogersville, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
He was born April 28, 1939 in Washington, Missouri, the son of the late Archie L. and Opal D. Hart Lee. He was united in marriage April 20, 1968 in Rogersville to Marilyn K. Alford. He was also preceded in death by a son, Darren Lee in 2006 and a sister, Barbara Brooks in 2009.
Don was a meat cutter for over 45 years with Ramey's and Price Cutter Stores before his retirement in 2002. He was an avid golfer and was a 50 year member of Henderson Lodge No. 477 in Rogersville.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Kent Hacker and wife Terry, Marshfield; and David Lee, Hartford, CT; two daughters, Sundee Leingang and husband John; and Lori Lee, all of Rogersville; a brother, Jimmie Lee and wife Jeri, Springfield; his brother-in-law, Coy Junior Brooks, Springfield; five grandchildren, Lacey Hacker, Nickolas Lee, Andy, Kelsay and Alexis Leingang; a great-grandson, Carter Leingang; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2015 in J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville. Burial will follow in Maple Park Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2015 before the service.
