Mr. Elizabeth Amsler, aged 85 years, died at 6:50 p.m. Monday in her home, Bruin, where she was born and spent most of her life. She was the widow of Solomon Amsler and was a member of the Bruin Methodist church.
Mrs. Amsler leaves five sons, Clarence Sutton of Sapulpa, Okla., Ira Sutton of Goldsmith, Tex., Elmer Sutton of Snyder, Tex., Vernette Sutton of Youngstown, O., and Lester Sutton of Brackenridge; three daughters, Mrs. Mae Long of Chicora, Mrs. Maude Long of Emlenton and Mrs. Lulu Hunter of Tarentum; six sisters, Mrs. Emma Black and Mrs. Becky Disel of Oklahoma, Mrs. Maggie Blymiller and Mrs. Carrie Snow of Parkers Landing, Mrs. Nettie Zornow of Milan, Mich., and Hannah Crankshaw of Bruin; two brothers, William Bullman of New Kensington and Andrew Bullman of Karns City; 15 grand children and 22 great-grandchildren; a stepson John Sutton of New Alexandria, O., and a step daughter, Mrs. Lena Shoupe of McDonald,
Friends will be received at the J.W. Know funeral home in Bruin, where services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of the Rev. H.A. Sayers of the Bruin Methodist church. Burial will be made in the Birdville [Mount Airy] cemetery.
