Mr. Cripe, 86, died Sunday. Born in Indiana, he came to the Kellogg area in 1925 from North Dakota.
Mr. Cripe was a past president of the Western Association of Collectors and a past president of the Idaho Association of Collectors. He had been active in civic organizations and was a member of the Elks Lodge, Kiwanis Club, Kellogg Chamber of Commerce and the Knights of Pythias.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ruby (Williams) Cripe, at the home in Kellogg; two sons, David Cripe of Campbell, Calif., and Richard Cripe of Denver; two daughters, Roslyn Hampton of Portland and Carolyn Hendrikson of Caldwell, Idaho; one brother, Wayne Cripe of Spokane; and 10 grandchildren.
