Harry C. Mylar, 70 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away at his residence.

He was born October 12, 1935 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Frank and Ruth Grove Mylar. Harry was retired from the Ormet Company, Hannibal, Ohio and was a member of the North Parkersburg Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy and Army veteran; was a member of the Masonic Lodge 172 A.F.&A.M. in Vienna, W.Va.; American Legion Post 15; Moose Lodge 931; and Martha Washington Chapter 22 OES, in Sistersville, W.Va.

He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Tammy and John Hill, and Kathy and Bill Bloomingdale all of Marietta, Ohio; six grandchildren, Tabitha Pittman of Marietta, Ohio, J.T. Hill of New York, Joel Hill of Marietta, Ohio, and Eric, Tori, and Alli Bloomingdale all of Marietta, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Ashton and Kayla Pittman both of Marietta; five step-sons, Jeff Rogers of Pennsylvania, Jason Rogers of Virginia, Wally King of Toledo, Ohio, Brandon and Tierman King both of Akron, Ohio; two step-grandchildren; and one brother, Albert Mylar of Kingwood, W.Va.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Marie Langfitt Mylar in February 2005; and two brothers, Charles and William Mylar.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2006 at the North Parkersburg Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Boone officiating. Interment will follow at the Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City, W.Va. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. and Friday one hour prior to the services at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the North Christian School, 3109 Emerson Ave. Parkersburg, W.Va. 26104.
