SAMUEL E. KEMP

Samuel E. Kemp, of Frisco, TX, formerly of Broken Bow, OK passed away June 24, 2015 at his home in Frisco.
He was born August 14, 1940, the son of Samuel and Thelma (Martin) Kemp.
Samuel and Myrle Burke were united in marriage on August 8, 1957 in Reno, TX. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Samuel served his country in the United States Army. He served twenty-two years in the U.S. Army Security Agency. Having served two tours in Vietnam and one tour in Korea, he received the Bronze Star with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Service Medal and many other accommodations.
Samuel leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Myrle (Burke) Kemp of the home; two children, Rick Kemp and wife, Jennifer of Omaha, Nebraska and Rhonda Schoolcraft and husband, David of Broken Bow, OK;
One brother, Rusty Greer of Stockton, CA; one sister, Sheila Glass of Keyser, West Virginia;
Four grandchildren, Evan Schoolcraft, Dustin Kemp, Virginia Kemp and Zac Schoolcraft; six great-grandchildren, Kora, Maddie, Lily, Jonathan, Gunnar and Andrea; cousin, Zoe Rena Chaney; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Randy Lee Kemp; and grandmother, Ola White.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK.
Interment will follow at Hochatown Cemetery, Hochatown, OK, Steve Daniel will officiate.
Family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Brumley Funeral Home.
