Jack Richard Daugherty, age 75, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 4:56 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at the Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born December 21, 1939, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Herbert Ranny and Ruth Elizabeth (Needham) Daugherty.
Jack was a 1957 graduate of Pierce City High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from Kansas City Power and Light and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lockwood, Missouri. On September 24, 1961, he married Mary Ann Meyer, in Freistatt, Missouri. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann.

A funeral service under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lockwood, Missouri. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Freistatt, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran School Technology Fund in care of the funeral home. On line condolences may be shared at this website.
