Gary R. Baker, 76, of Blue Springs, passed away June 25, 2015 at home. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Sunday, June 28, with Memorial Service 10:30 am Monday, June 29, at First United Methodist Church, 301 SW Woods Chapel Rd. Blue Springs. Contributions may be made to Three Rivers Hospice or the church.

Gary graduated from Wymore High School in 1955 then served in the Army from 1955 to 1958. Gary was a member of First United Methodist Church in Blue Springs. He worked as a systems analyst with life insurance companies and had been a Nebraska Football season ticket holder for 55 years.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy; sons, Jason and Matt; daughter-in-law Kelly; grandchildren, Lauren, Logan, and Jack; siblings: Rubye Stewart of Beatrice, NE; Roma Baker of Wymore, NE; Audrey Rich (Tom) of Sun Lakes, AZ; borther-in-laws and spouses: Lendall Meyer of Grand Island, NE; Lindley Meyer (Emily Jo) of Surprise, AZ, and Gordon Meyer (Sharon) of Nelson, NE; host of nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
