Daughter of Clarence and Stella Caldwell Black. Married Vernon A. Duke in 1921; he died in 1974. Also preceded in death by two daughters, Dorothie Louise Sumpter and Martha Jean Kasalko. She was a 1921 graduate of Orchard City College in Flora, IL. She worked for Allis Chalmers and later Bridge Jewelry, where she was an owner and partner. Survived by two daughters, two sons, 21 grandchildren. -
