Myra Harris Faulkner passed away peacefully on June 17, 2015.
She was born in Asheville, North Carolina to Richard Grey Wolfe and Anna Myra (Herron) Wolfe.
Myra graduated from St. Genevieve of the Pines in Asheville, NC. She then attended the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina in Greensboro.
Myra spent many years as a bookkeeper for the Junior League of Charlotte, NC. She worked as a bookkeeper for Interiors Unlimited and later was employed by the accounting firm George G. Scott.
Myra was a social person and enjoyed friends of all ages. She enjoyed spending time at her second home at Wrightsville Beach and had numerous close friends there. Myra was an avid gardener, a great cook and a voracious reader.
She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Howell (Buck) Harris, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband Alonzo Donald Faulkner, two daughters and their spouses, and six grandchildren.
The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 22, at Myers Park Presbyterian Church, 2501 Oxford Place, Charlotte, 28207, with visitation immediately to follow in the fellowship hall. Robertson Funeral & Cremation Service is serving the family, www.throbertson.com.
