Andrew Jackson Folks, 81, of 815 Campus Way, San Bernardino, died Wednesday in a San Bernardino hospital. A native of Arkansas, he had lived in San Bernardino 24 years. Mr. Folks retired after 16 years as a retail groceryman. He was a member of First Baptist Church, and the Masonic Lodge in Weatherford, Okla. Survivors include the widow Lula; three sons, Lowell, of Bakersfield; Walter, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Washburn Lee Folks of Young, Ariz.; two step-sons, Marshall Rogers of Colorado and Otis Rogers of San Bern ardino; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby McBride of Oakland, Mrs Madeline Estes of Upland and Mrs. Melva Patterson of San Bernardino; three sisters, Mrs Nettie Pryor of Guthrie, Okla.; Mrs. Pearl Speice of Hydro, Okla.; and Mrs. Mary Coker of Shawnee, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mark B. Shaw Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. today.
