Larry Telmer Christianson, age 67 of rural Viroqua went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Monday, June 22, 2015, who he received into his heart at a tent revival meeting in Readstown, WI He was born on May 28, 1948 to Telmer and Lucille (Eitland) Christianson. He graduated from Viroqua High School in 1966 and was a local milk hauler for over forty-four years. He was known as your ‘friendly’ milk hauler. He was currently trucking for Korth Transfer of Reedsburg, WI, and was known as a hard working and dedicated employee.
Larry is survived by his daughter; Emily (Dustin Larivee) of La Crosse, brothers; Daryl of Viroqua, Kelly of Viola, Gaylord of La Crosse, Tony of Viroqua, Jeff (Lori) of Bloomingdale, Wayne (Rachel) of Boscobel, and Barry (Vicki) of Viroqua, sisters; Shelby Christianson of Rochester, MN, Cindy (Leroy) Giese of Horicon, WI, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his Aunts; Deloris Olson of Westby and Charlotte Stalsberg of Moline, IL He was preceded in death by two infant sisters; Charmayne and Elayne, his father, Telmer on November 4, 1972, his mother, Lucille on July 25, 1985, a brother, Tyrone on July 27, 2013 and a sister, Cheryl Cox on January 22, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 29th, 2015 at the Thorson Funeral Home in Viroqua with Pastor Calvin Erickson officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery at rural Viroqua.
