Brenda Lee Britt Whitaker age 52 of Bowling Green, died Tuesday at 11:09 pm at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Scottsville, Kentucky to the late Emanuel R. and Elsie Pauline Shockley Britt. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Britt and sister Rosa Lee Britt. She was a loving Housewife and Homemaker. She was a member of Madison Ave. General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jimmy Whitaker of Bowling Green, her sons, James Emanuael Whitaker (Shannon), Joshua Lee Whitaker and Jacob Edward Whitaker (Diana) all of Bowling Green. Sisters, Linda Blankenship, Jo Ann Watt, Vivian Legieza and Wanda Brisbois, brothers Roger Dale Britt, Tommy Wayne Britt, Jason Emanuel Britt. 9 Grandchildren, Damon, Caleigh, Chyenne, Keira, Leim, Jase, George, Charlie and Jacob
Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday and after 9:00 am Saturday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial to follow in the Stallard Springs Cemetery. Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Brenda's Memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
